La escuela regional Bishop Schad agradece a todos nuestros seguidores. Ya sea una donación financiera o el regalo del tiempo a través del voluntariado, nos gustaría decir "gracias".
God our Father, pour out your blessing on the benefactors of Bishop Schad Regional School. Their goodness and generosity make Catholic education available to us. In gratitude, we ask you to reward them in this life according to your generous love. And when their lives on earth are over, to welcome them to your heavenly kingdom. Amen.
We thank you in advance for your generosity!
A CULTURE OF PHILANTHROPY
Ours is a community defined by giving – a community that grows stronger through the participation of every member. Fundraising and volunteer activities celebrate, honor, and perpetuate this spirit of giving – a tradition that focuses both on supporting our school today, and on securing educational opportunities for future generations.
The Annual Appeal is the cornerstone of giving to Bishop Schad Regional School. The Annual Appeal refers to unrestricted giving from all sources that support all school programs and activities. Teacher salaries, scholarship aid, library books, technology, and building maintenance are all funded in part by annual giving. Without a vibrant Annual Appeal, tuition would have to be raised to support these programs, thus the Annual Appeal enables the school to keep tuition at an affordable level for Bishop Schad families.
At some point in life, even the most prepared can experience hardships: a death in the family, the loss of a job, and numerous things that can cause difficulties. Each year, Bishop Schad Regional School works very hard to assist families touched by adversity. Through the Sponsor-A-Student Program we hope to increase the support we are able to extend to families in need.
We need YOUR help.
It is through your assistance we will be able to pass on the light of our faith. You will not only make a difference in the life of a child in need, you will also serve as an example of the compassion and selflessness we strive to instill in our students as future leaders.
Capital gifts are gifts specifically restricted (by the donor) for capital needs that include endowment funds as well as funds for construction or renovations of permanent facilities.
MEMORIAL OR TRIBUTE GIFTS
If you have a loved one who has been impacted by Bishop Schad Regional School or any other Cumberland County Catholic school, establishing a memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor your loved one or celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday while supporting the work of our mission. Your memorial or tribute gift will be a lasting legacy to your loved one and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Memorial or Tribute Gifts can also be placed in honor of the four Catholic schools in Cumberland County that were closed. We should never forget:
Sacred Heart High School of Vineland
St. Francis Regional School of Vineland
St. Mary Magdalen Regional School of Millville
or Immaculate Conception School of Bridgeton
These four schools were the cornerstone of many communities in Cumberland County. As the only remaining Catholic school we do our very best to continue the tradition of Catholic education for each and every child that comes our way.
Students4students is our annual student driven fundraiser to help offset the cost of tuition. Close to one third of our students receive financial aid and this is a way for our students to give back.
Get Involved: Making a Positive Difference
Community service is an important part of the education every student receives at Bishop Schad Regional School. The students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, grandparents, and parents of graduates who volunteer at Bishop Schad perform an equally valuable service to our community. To fulfill our development goals, we welcome the involvement of volunteers to help with events, outreach, social media, direct mailing, staffing and many other development activities.
Everyone who participates in our volunteer efforts makes a real and positive difference to our community. While our volunteers help us tremendously by donating their time and expertise, they also receive the satisfaction of making a contribution that is impacting the lives of our students. Please assist our school by volunteering your time and talent. For more information on volunteer opportunities, please call Jane Lambert at 856-691-4490.
